I have completed my first year of Reading Challenges. YEAH!!
For 2012, I signed up for a few great challenges and of course I made sure they cross referenced themselves . You know the Audiobook Challenge and the POC Challenge was easy to cross. All I had to do is listen to an audiobook by a person of color. Or the Dusty Bookshelf and the TBR Reading Challenge. All I had to do is read a book off of my bookshelf. Easy! Right! So here is the breakdown on what I read and how I did on the challenges.

Thoughts on this challenge
I plan on doing this challenge again in 2013 because I have tons of books that have collected way too much dust on my bookshelf. I think I will try to hit 10 and hopefully pass it next year. I might read one more before the end of the year and that way I hit my goal. Fingers crossed. Next year I am going to try and double this one. No really!
***UPDATE***
I just finished the last book today (12/31/12) I have never busted out a review that fast but I DID IT!!!! *victory lap*

Thoughts on this challenge
Again, another challenge I totally loved and rocked. The only issue I have is that there is no one really heading and manning this one at all. I hope this Challenge comes back next year and there are more people interested in joining. The POC Challenge is important and people really need to make a mindful effort to add color to their libraries.

Thoughts on this challenge
This challenge is a staple for all reading challenges. I up'ed my total three times so next year I will start at 52 and move up from there. I will hopefully finish my last two books before the end of the year. I have one audiobook that I started and I have one book to buy for the Book Club book of the month. This will be a plane read. I will find a better way to stay on top of my reading next year. PROMISE!

Thoughts on this challenge
This challenge helped me get this blog started and helped me along the way. Before life got crazy. I am going to do this again next year because Resolutions are a joy to complete. I love checking them off one by one.
So now that I have completed almost all my challenges, how did you do this year? Was 2012 a good book year?
