I decided to join a weekly hop for a bit.  This one is cool because you can post any day of the week.  That's right no pressure on getting your post up a specific day of the week.  Each week there will be a new topic submit by a blogger and everyone can join in with their answers.  Join us!
This weeks Topic/Question
August 30th -September 5th: Have you ever ended up reading a book with its last or last few pages missing? What book was it? And how did you managed to get to the end? (submitted by Kero)

I ran across this reading challenge while I was reading Vasilly's blog (1330v) today.  She posted her reading goals and as I was thinking about it, I realized I have a few books on my bookshelf that would fit perfectly.  I have to get back to reading more books off of my bookshelf because one, I have to many unread books here.  And two, it's part of my New Year's Resolution.

I Don't Knoww!
Honest, I was just blogging on a regular and the next thing I know...*sigh*... 2.5 months have past and...I Don't Know!  I just forgot?  No!  Wasn't in the mood?  Maybe!  Busy?  Yes.  I'll use that one.  My time management skills went on vacation.
For the past week I have been playing catch up with post and reviews.  *sigh* So many reviews to do.  As of right now I have 3 done and 4 more to go.  And yes! I have started an audiobook today.  I am really hoping to knock them out...SOON!
I have a sheet of paper sitting here next to me with a list of post I have to do.  Here is the run down.

Giveaway: Audiobook and Stuff

I was planning to do this wayyyyyy back in June during Audiobook Month and completely slacked on it.  Sorry I will make it up to you all.  I will host another giveaway to make up for the one I missed in July and another one for this month.  How is that?  3 giveaways starting today!  Just for you.

The rules are easy.  One, fill out the rafflecopter form.  Two, must be in the US.  (Cause I am poor and it cost tons of money to ship stuff out of the county)  Three, enter one or all the giveaways.

Yep, told you!  It's easy.

Pocketbooks Of Summer

I was planning on posting this in June but I fell off into the lazy blogger state.  Now that summer is almost over, I thought I should get this posted up now.  So bear with me!

Every time I think of summer I think of the beach, flip flops, sundress and of course big bags for the day time and small ones for the night.  The big bag has all you need for the beach and the small one has all you need for the night club, dinner and movies.  Did I just plan out your summer?  Oops!  Well here are 7 purses that I think scream summer.  Click the image to go the site and shop on ladies.

I Love This! Michael Kors

There are sooo many reasons to love Michael Kors.  So many!  Not just because of this Large Studded Tote but what about all the great stuff of his at my favorite store TJMaxx.  There you can find so many great purses, shoes, dresses and other items by Michael Kors and you can afford them.  Love That!  Really do!  I am not sure if I will find this bag at TJMaxx anytime soon.  But if and when I do...you know...that I know...I will blog about it!  LOL!
Look at the other one for all the silver lovers out there.

I Love This! Kinies

Lately I have been looking for a way to carry all my stuff and not have anything in my hands or on my shoulder.  I like the idea of a fanny pack but...come on...who really wants to be seen with a fanny pack.  Of course I stopped by Etsy.com and window shopped.  Ever since I downloaded the app that is all I do.  I think it's worse than Pintrest.  No about the same!  LOL!  I ran across this shop Kinies and I think I have to have one.  Look how cute that looks.  It doesn't even look like a fanny pack.  I love this!

August is American Indian Month

Every month I try to help bring awareness of calendar events and awareness months.  This month is almost over and I completely forgot to let you all know this month, August is National American Indian Heritage Month or Native American Heritage Month.  This observance will happen again in November as well.

Back in 2009, my mother and I went to a Pow Wow!  There were several tribes represented there and I loved seeing all the beautiful Native American attire.  The music just makes you want to jump and dance with everyone in the circle.  I don't think my moves would work for this event but a girl can try!  LOL!  Here is a photo from the San Manuel (California) Pow Wow.  Click the link to see the other 150 photos I took that day.  Man I need to go again.  I had such a wonderful time.

BEA 2103 Book Haul: Part 2

I'm back with the second post about my BEA Haul.  There will be two more.  I know this should have been done way back in May but...you know... LIFE!  Man I had no idea this post would be so hard.  ARGH!
I am starting the numbering off from the last post so I will have a total count of books.

Here is the post from my BEA 2013 Book Haul: Part 1

Quicky Review #9: Letter from Birmingham Jail

I have one new audiobook I want to review that isn't really going to count toward any of my reading challenges since it is really short. Here are a few sentences on this short (about 2 hours or less) story. I have other quicky reviews for you to check out too.  Don't fret there will be more.  I like short stories because they are FREE and I can get in and out of one in no time.
Below are the links to the other Quicky Reviews
