Each week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5 favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in Linky (so we can visit).
You don’t even need to participate, just stopping by and saying hi would be great! Don’t forget to stop by the other participants!
Today we are going to show off pretty book covers with the theme of gardens on them.  And you know me...I will make this a diverse list of books (as much as I can).  Click on the book titles below to go to their Amazon page.

10 Fave Book Covers

I love book covers. I really do.
I can not count the number of books I read, checked out and bought just because it had a pretty cover.  I do judge books by their covers.  I can't help it.  I just love pretty pictures and art and fonts and all pretty things.  (That's why I am hooked on Pinterest.  It's a whole website of pretty.)
Here are 10 of my favorite book covers from books I read this year.  Some of these are older books but I just read them this year.  All the covers are listed below with a links to my review.  Some reviews are great just like the covers.  Others...not so much.  It just has a great cover.

Radiant Orchid Book Covers

Every year the Pantone company of all things color selects a color of the year. Once the announcement is made various companies, designers, fashionista and color lovers start production of new productions with that color.  I know it sounds like a scene from the movie The Wiz.
But it really happens.  Last year the color was Emerald Green.  This year the color is Radiant Orchid.
The publishing world even added Radiant Orchid on a few of the new book releases of 2014.
Check out these Radiant Orchid book covers.

Cover Color in Books: Emerald Green

This year Pantone picked EMERALD GREEN to be the color of 2013.  So what a great opportunity to make a list of books with Emerald Green covers.

Summer Crossing by Julie Kagawa
Julie Kagawa's bestselling series The Iron Fey captivated the imagination—and hearts—of readers of all ages with its mix of magic, fantasy and romance. Now, readers can enjoy a special novella from one of Julie's most beloved characters, Puck!
A Midsummer's Nightmare?
Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Summer Court prankster, King Oberon's right hand, bane of many a faery queen's existence—and secret friend to Prince Ash of the Winter Court. Until one girl's death came between them, and another girl stole both their hearts.
Now Ash has granted one favor too many and someone's come to collect, forcing the prince to a place he cannot go without Puck's help—into the heart of the Summer Court. Puck faces the ultimate choice—betray Ash and possibly win the girl they both love, or help his former friend turned bitter enemy pull off a deception that no true faery prankster could possibly resist.
Don't miss the next chapter of the Iron Fey saga, The Lost Prince.

Scary Cover Love

It's Halloween time.
I love like Halloween just as much as I love Christmas and Thanksgiving but for completely different reasons.  I think I like the scare of Halloween along with the dress up...of course.  Wait!  I love the dress up way more than the scare.  Anyways, I thought I would feature a few book covers that scream SCARRY!!
To me the best covers have little to them but say a lot.  What do you think of these book covers?  Do they bring on the scare?  Click on the covers to go to the Amazon store.
