October 2013: Wrap Up

Yep that's right.  Not a typo!
This is ONLY a month late.  Along with the 30 other post I haven't done and the last four I just posted.  OOPPSS!  Better late than never.  Kinda!
October was an ok month.  After rocking September I had high hopes for myself for this October and I ended up overbooked, over obligated, and I over did it!  But I did rock one reading challenge.  Check out these sad stats
I posted 36 post on this blog and October was Save The TaTa's month. (aka Breast Cancer Awareness Month)

November 2013 Reading Queue

Reading Queue September
Reading Queue is hosted by Book Tasty and Books: A true story
I am so behind on this post as well.  But I'm trying to clean up my daft folder.  I'm trying!

What is the reading queue?
Reading Queue is a monthly meme where you share what books you plan to read for the month.  You can hop to other blogs and see what others are reading and maybe find someone reading the same thing as you! Or you can ask for people to vote on what you should read next if you can’t decide.
To Read This Month
Book Club Book of the Month: 12 Years A Slave by Solomon NorthupFinished

October Winners

I know this is a bit late but I did mail the prize off weeks ago and the winner has probably finished reading it by now.  But I just wanted you all to know the winners.
A BIG thank you goes out to all of you for stopping by, entering and leaving comments.  I really, really appreciate it!  There was only one giveaway last month hosted by me.  I posted two others (Target Giveaway and Coach Bag Giveaway) they were hosted by NYSavingSpecials.

Now on to the winner..

I'm Still Here

Hi there everyone and Happy day after Thanksgiving.
I am still here trying to get back to blogging on a regular.  For some crazy reason my calendar is packed with things I need to do, want to do and have to do's and blogging is not on there.  I think it just got put to the side for a month (or two). I have so many blog post to do it's ridiculous.  I have to actually sit down for a minute to thin about all the books I have read and need to review.

R.I.P. VIII: Wrap Up

Readers Imbibing Peril VIII

This was my first time participating in the R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril VIII Challenge and boy...whew... I have really outdone myself.  Originally, I was planning on just reading two books.  The first one was Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake (audiobook) as well as The Wolf Gift by Anne Rice.  I was really focused on getting a few books read for my Dusty Bookshelf Challenge and I didn't think I would be ale to read more than those two since they were 400+ pages each.  AGH!  By the way, I have a chunky book fear.

Dystopian Giveaway Hop 2013

Welcome to my first but not the first Dystopian Giveaway Hop! Thank you to host of this event My Shelf Confessions and I Am a Reader, Not a Writer for this great hop!
I just started reading Dystopian novels when I started blogging almost 2 years ago.  Honestly, I never really heard of the genre at all before that time.  Then a few book started popping up here and there.  Now I love them.  I haven't read that many but the ones I have read have been great.
For this giveaway I am going to make it easy.  Promise!
