Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Books

The beginning of September I did a post about September being Hispanic Heritage Month.  In the post I added a few books that I though would be interesting to read to celebrate the month.  Then I realized there are a few more I should have added.  So here are a few more books that will give you an opportunity to explore the Hispanic Culture and add some diversity to your bookshelf.

National Hispanic Heritage Month 2013 

begins on Sunday, September 15 and ends on Tuesday, October 15

Yes it is!  Along with Back to School Month for almost everyone under the age of 21.  But as much as I can, I try to give you all (book bloggers) an opportunity to find a few good reads to help diversify your bookshelves.   There are so many great writers out there creating amazing books with Hispanic main characters, history and culture and they are not getting enough of our attention.  (That is of course my opinion only)  But you rarely see an author of Hispanic origin on a book blogger tour or their books getting many reviews from book bloggers.

Operation TBR Reduction: September's Report

Just in case you haven't heard of this amazing Challenge.  It is only for book hoarders.  Which I know I am the only one here that is.  Right?  Right!  

Operation TBR Reduction was created and is hosted by Stephanie at Once Upon a Chapter to reduce the number of books current in her/my/our houses.
