POC Books on My Shelf

Sorry this is so incredibly late.  I have to and I am trying get back to my POC schedule.
As you know, part of my 2015 resolutions is to post more about POC authors and characters. This has been a fun and great idea for me and my blog because I get a chance to show off a few authors and books that don't get that much time in the spotlight.
As you can see I have several books by or about People of Color.  The photo is of my TBR pile I need to get to it.  There is a complete mix of books on my bookshelf and I seem to jump to the next book based on what hits me at the moment solely.  No particular order.
Feel free to join me and post a something on your blog about as well.
What is POC?
Well, basically it stands for Person of Color. All Colors! All non-white races are counted as POC.

This week's "can't wait to read" selection is...

Sunday Delight: My Plate is Fullll!

Happy Sunday Everyone!
It has been awhile since I have done a Sunday Delight.  I have started a new project of learning Movie Magic Budgeting software (online) and it has taken me completely away from blogging.  And you know if it was not for audiobooks and my commute I would not even have time for finishing a book at all.  I am adding BEA15 to my plate as well.  Thank God, Monday is a holiday because I am going to wash and pack and get a million things done on Monday.  Tuesday I am going to work, going to get my hair done then off to the airport for my red-eye flight to NYC.  I am too busy to get excited!  Did I mention I am doing a class with a homework assignment due on Tuesday?  My plate is FULL!  So today I have set my timer for one hour and I am going to blog only for ONE SOLID HOUR!
What are you up to?

Here and Now

Time: 9:36 am (Saturday)
Drinking:  Green Tea with Lemon and Honey (My blogging drink of choice)
Eating: I might make a bowl of cereal later
Listening To: Bill Withers Radio on Pandora
Watching: TLC's Flea Market Flip.  I love this show!

May 2015 Reading Queue

Reading Queue is a meme hosted by Book Tasty and Books: A True Story.
Welcome to the Reading Queue.
Well!
I am back to my slow reading pace of 4 books a month.  LOL!
I kinda got hooked on a iPad game called 2048.  OMG!  If you remember I quit playing Candy Crush for one year so that I can read more.  Well........ 2048 is my new crack!  What does this have to do with my reading queue for May?  I'm telling you this so you won't be disappointed when you see the short list of books I have planned to read this month.  More or less I am giving you a heads up.
But I will (try to) quit 2048 at when I get back from BEA15.
What is the reading queue all about?
Reading Queue is a monthly meme where you share what books you plan to read for the month. You can hop to other blogs and see what others are reading and maybe find someone reading the same thing as you! Or you can ask for people to vote on what you should read next if you can’t decide.

So here is what I have lined up for the month of May. (Click the covers to go to the books Amazon page.)
