Google Celebrates an Author of Color

Google completely surprised me today.  If you haven't noticed, when you use Google.com to search there is usually a new Google icon in the upper left hand corner.  The icons change in celebration of holidays, famous events, and did you know kind of things.  They also celebrate famous people too.  Today, Google is celebrating a famous African American Author's birthday.

Zora Neale Hurston

Zora Neale Hurston was an American folklorist, anthropologist, and author during the time of the Harlem Renaissance. Wikipedia
Born: January 7, 1891, Notasulga, AL
Died: January 28, 1960, Fort Pierce, FL

If you are new to this author, here are a few books by her for you to add to your TBR list.

Happy Birthday Zora!
