R.I.P. VIII: Wrap Up

Readers Imbibing Peril VIII

This was my first time participating in the R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril VIII Challenge and boy...whew... I have really outdone myself.  Originally, I was planning on just reading two books.  The first one was Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake (audiobook) as well as The Wolf Gift by Anne Rice.  I was really focused on getting a few books read for my Dusty Bookshelf Challenge and I didn't think I would be ale to read more than those two since they were 400+ pages each.  AGH!  By the way, I have a chunky book fear.

Review The Hunger Games Movie

Last night, the ladies from my book club and I went to The Rave at the Howard Hughes Center to watch The Hunger Games.  I think out of 14 of us 2 or 3 of them had not read the book yet.  Ok, just to let you know I may be spoiling this for you.  If you haven't read the book or seen the book don't read anymore unless you want to know before you go.

In My Mailbox #2

This post is my weekly update about the shiny new books I have bought (I know I need to stop buying them), won (I love to enter giveaways) or received from authors or others.  As well as purses I buy or receive, of course!
Click the photo to go to Amazon.com or Goodreads.com to read more about the books or to purchase a copy.

The Artist (Movie)

I just saw this movie last night.  I know this is a blog about books and purses (I am going to start that soon) but I just had to let you know ...
