Can you believe the month of March is coming to a close. And April is just around the corner. April! Oh my that was so quick. I am looking forward to April and another read-a-thon. This year has been the year of read-a-thons and of course review-a-thon too.
But first let's check in on the week that has just past.
Here and Now
Time: 4:19 pm(Saturday)
Drinking: Ice Tea
Eating: Egg Salad Sandwich on a croissant

How was your first full week of February? Still keeping up on your resolutions and goals for 2015? This is the time to read them and give yourself a boost to keep them and to do them. Myself included. I totally fell off the workout resolution for the past two weeks so this week is all about hitting the reset button and getting back into the gym. #NoMatterWhat
And this week I am planning on doing a few more hours of reading a day. My goal is to get more than my usual four books completed this month. To bad it's a short month. LOL! I have two book that I want to complete and I will find something off my book shelf to read next. Of course as I was typing that I stopped to look over the shelves to see what it might be. Hmm? More than likely it will be a POC book, that is not part of a series. Something collecting dust? Yep! Hmmm?
Wait?! Let's talk about last week first. Here are my book stats for the week.
Watching: My honey and I went to a concert of a band I introduced him to last year. The concert tickets were his Christmas gift from me to him. Yes! He was surprised. Here is some footage from my iphone. Ladies and gentleman here is...LETTUCE!
How are you? Did you have a productive weekend? Did you participate in the Bout of Books read-a-thon? I did..kinda. I hosted my first Bout of Books Mini-Challenge and it was amazing. I have never had so many people participate in a non-hop giveaway. I loved the excitement and the fun everyone had with it. I am going to post more about the Book Spine Poetry Challenge later and a wrap up of the Bout of Books event.
Here and Now
Time: 7:55 am Drinking: Water Eating: I made egg fritatas for the first time and they came out perfect. I made 6 with a biscuit bottom. I love those the best. Those are the ones in the back that look like muffins. My honey says he liked them but I can't tell if he was just being sweet. I'll just take the compliment and move on. LOL!

February is Black History Month in the US. This month we celebrate, remember and teach the history of Blacks and the contributions they have made to the world we live in. Today I thought I would give you a few links and information as about a few things going on this month along with a few new releases.
These events celebrate Black History Month in bookish ways.
Can you believe 2012 is over? Wow!
And this is my first ever year in review wrap up post here at My Little Pocketbooks. I thought I would do a post about my first year as a book blogger. I loved every minute of it and I have learned so much along the way too. Yes! Blogging is a learning process. I'm for one, much more organized and focus about my blog than I was at the beginning of the year. See what I mean?
Well here is a few great highlights from my first year with My Little Pocketbooks.
