Welcome back to another Quicky Review.
A lot of the time I like to read short stories, prequels and free
audiobooks that are short and sweet. But why do a full review on a book
that is say... 100 or less pages long. I do Quicky Reviews for the
shorties and children books as well. Basically, short stories get
short reviews.
Here are just a few sentences on two novella in audiobook form from a few months ago.
There are other Quicky Reviews for you to check out too and don't worry
there will be more to come.

My Thoughts
This one was interesting in the beginning but toward the end it became just a touch on the corny side. Quick read and I loved the narrator. If you do the series, read this one after book #1.
If I'm Dead
Author: Marcia Clark
Author: Marcia Clark
Release Date: April 3, 2012
Audiobook: 1 hour and 31 minutes
Narrator: January LaVoy
Book Description
It started with a haunting image: a Ford Explorer, iridescent in the moonlight and alone on a desolate stretch of beach. Its owner, Melissa Gibbons, has gone missing. Her husband says she flew the coop. But Los Angeles Deputy DA Rachel Knight is convinced otherwise: Melissa Gibbons has been murdered.
So begins the confounding case that Rachel must present before a disbelieving jury. A dissatisfied heiress and her philandering husband-- what really happened? The husband has a fiendishly convincing case that Melissa faked her own death and fled. But with the support of her trusty sidekick, Detective Bailey Keller, Rachel pieces together a much more sinister truth.
In this short, standalone Rachel Knight thriller, readers follow our savvy and riotously entertaining heroine through the surprising world of LA crime.

My Thoughts
This was good and quick. Kind of too quick. This novella could have been a bit longer and added a few more twist and unexpected turns. This story can easily fit anywhere in the series. And the narrator was good too!
