Welcome back to another Quicky Review.
A lot of the time I like to read short stories, prequels and free
audiobooks that are short and sweet. But why do a full review on a
story that is say...80 pages long. So I do Quicky Reviews for the
shorties and children books as well. Basically, the short stories get
short reviews.
Here are just a few sentences on three audiobooks (about 2 hours or less) I got from Audible.com.
There are other Quicky Reviews for you to check out too and don't worry
there will be more to come. I like short stories because most of them
are FREE and I can get in and out of one in no time.

Quicky Review #17: Miss Moppet, Sleep Donation and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Author: Madison Moore
Release Date: August 5, 2013
Book Description
We're in a Beyoncé moment. The pop sensation has more fans, more fame, and more cultural influence than ever before. But what makes her so iconic? Is she really that perfect? And why do we love her so much? How to Be Beyoncé isn’t a biography (mostly because nobody wants to get sued by someone who does everything so perfectly). Instead, it’s a meditation on her place in culture, why we love her so much, and what we can learn from her image and work-ethic so we can reach our own potential.
My Thoughts
Thank God I got this for free. I would have been a bit upset if I had to pay for this audio essay. Nothing redeeming about it at all. The synopsis is better than the whole hour and 29 minutes since it leads you to believe this essay is about...something.

Book Description
Everyone knows confidence when they see it; but seemingly no one can actually describe what goes into it or how to get it. The Nerd's Guide to Being Confident is an unconventional way of looking at one of the most basic and obvious human traits and what one can do to gain a little more of it without feeling like a phony. Laughter included.
My Thoughts
This was a cute and at times funny little guide to help the nerdy and confident deficient with dating advise that's basic and easy to do. All in good humor.
Author: Mishka Shubaly
Release Date: January 2, 2014
Book Description
Two-time bestselling Kindle Singles author Mishka Shubaly is back with a dark, intimate, fascinating story of love, hope and human connection... gone horribly, horribly awry.
My Thought
What a crazy story? Wow! I didn't see the ending coming at all. I thought the writing was good and the story was interesting. The narrator did a good job but I have to say there was something missing for me. The story was just a shocker and there was a bit of substance missing. But a good story.
