After noticing most bloggers post a list of free or really close to free e-books, every week, month or just once in
awhile I decided to post a few free audiobooks. I love free
books. I mean who doesn't.
Yes, there is a such thing as a free audiobooks, and they are not just
boring old classics either. I seem to run across a few new ones here
and there. Some of them are short and sweet while others are prequels to popular series.
When I run across a couple of free audiobooks, I will post them for you to check out as well.
If you are new to audiobooks this is a great way to try one or two
without spending any money. All of these title are FREE at the time of
posting. Things could have changed.

Back in print in an all-new edition is the
engaging and illuminating chronicle of the life of the "Queen of
Mystery". Fans of Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple and readers of John
Curran’s fascinating biographies Agatha Christie’s Secret Notebooks and Murder in the Making
will be spellbound by the compelling, authoritative account of one of
the world’s most influential and fascinating novelists, told in her own
words and inimitable style - and here in her own voice. These audio
excerpts were dictated by Agatha Christie herself.
The Story of Miss Moppet is a children's book
written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter. The story tells of a cat who
captures a mouse, and toys with him until he escapes. This version is
published in the Audible Enhanced audiobook format.
M. R. James was a prolific and hugely successful author, now credited
with having redefined the ghost story for the 20th century by abandoning
many of the formal Gothic clichés of his predecessors and using more
realistic contemporary settings. Originally published in 1904, 'Oh,
Whistle, and I'll Come to you, My Lad' ranks amongst his best and most
underrated tales. Many of the earliest ghost stories and tales of
hauntings, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are
now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing
these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using
the original text and artwork.
