Book Blogger Hop: Stop Incoming Books and Fairies

Hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer
Welcome everyone to another post of Book Blogger Hop (hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer). Each week there will be a new topic submit by a blogger and everyone can join in with their answers. You should join us! It's quite fun!  No really it is!

This Weeks Topic/Question

Have you stopped accepting books from either authors or publishers to try to catch up? If not, do you think you would ever do that? (submitted by Elizabeth)

My Answer

Why yes I have.  I stopped two years ago.  I had just started book blogging and everything was so new and exciting.  I was saying yes to everyone and completely neglecting the pile of books I already had in my house.  It made my blogging purpose fly completely out the window.  The purpose of this blog is to keep track of my reading and thoughts about the books I have and I am reading.  Not to promote and reading the latest and greatest.  Even if I do finish all the book in my house and all the audiobooks on my ipad I don't think I will accept many books from authors.  Maybe 10 a year so I won't overwhelm myself with author review request.

So to all my blogger friends and book blogger hoppers, have you stopped accepting books from authors or publishers?

For the past two months I have been jumping on this meme hosted by Sugar and Snark featuring book covers.  I really enjoy it and I think I will continue doing it as long as they continue hosting it.  This meme is all about YA book covers (mostly) but I have added my Alysia touch to it and I am trying to add some diversity in my selections and I am mixing up the genres.

Each week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5 favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in Linky (so we can visit). ~From Sugar and Snark

I love all of these covers for different reasons.  In the diverse world we live in I am shocked it was so hard to find diversity in the fairy world.
What are you favorite fairy book covers?
