Book Blogger Hop: Christmas Time Stories and Green

It's Christmas Time!  Present shopping is under way.  Yes I am a last minute shopper.  I even have friends that I shop for after Christmas.  Don't worry they already know.  So how is your Christmas shopping going?

Welcome everyone to another post of Book Blogger Hop (hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer).  Each week there will be a new topic submit by a blogger and everyone can join in with their answers. You should join us!  It's quite fun!

This weeks Topic/Question
December 20th - 26th: Holiday Edition- What is your favorite book set around Christmastime?
My Answer
I haven't read that many books with a Christmas setting at all.  I think the most recent one was Naomi's Gift and that was just this month.  As a child and into my teens I loved all the Christmas movies like Miracle on 34th Street (1947) and all the holiday Hallmark movie of the weeks.
But I think like most people Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol is the all time favorite book set around Christmas.
What are some of your favorite Christmas time books?

Hosted by Sugar and Snark
For the month of December I thought I would change it up a bit and try out this (new to me) meme called Cover Characteristic hosted by Sugar and Snark.
Each week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5 favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in Linky (so we can visit). ~From Sugar and Snark

So this week the cover characteristic is all about the 2013 Color of the Year, Green!  Here are my picks.
