Book Blogger Hop: Blogging Schedules & Fairytales Retold

Hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer
Welcome everyone to another post of Book Blogger Hop (hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer). Each week there will be a new topic submit by a blogger and everyone can join in with their answers. You should join us! It's quite fun!  No really it is!

This Weeks Topic/Question

Do you have a schedule set for blogging and reading time? Or do you not have a set time and just let it happen? (submitted by Elizabeth)

My Answer

Every month I take a few minutes and write down (yes with a pencil and on paper) my blog calendar.  Everything is on it.  Reviews, memes, and the rare discussion topics I want to talk about.  In my perfect world I get Saturday or Sunday to do a full week of post.  But that sometimes happens and most of the time I try to make it happen.  Unlike today (currently typing this post up on Thursday at work (12:25pm) not Saturday.  I realized recently that my personal reading time has gone to squat.  This week I made it a point to read when I get home from work for one hour at least.  So far so good.
Since I am in the mist of reading 3 books (which is more than my two at a time) this is really helping me to get through them.

What about you?  Do you have a schedule set for blogging and reading time?

For several months now, I have been jumping on this meme hosted by Sugar and Snark featuring book covers.  I really enjoy it and I think I will continue doing it as long as they continue hosting it.  This meme is all about YA book covers (mostly) but I have added my Alysia touch to it and I am trying to add some diversity in my selections and I am mixing up the genres.

Each week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite covers with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5 favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in Linky (so we can visit). ~From Sugar and Snark
