Review
I met this young man and his mom at BEA13. They were promoting his book and I was really impressed with such a put together presentation he had for his book.  I was in love with the whole family being there to help promote his book too!
Now on to the book.
The Galactic Defenders is a quick read about a family of five kids who get super powers from a chemical in the school science lab.  Being the great kids they are they use their new found super powers to help defend kids and protect New York City.
I love the story idea the author came up with.  I have to put my adult reader aside and leave all reality out of this one.  It is a fast pace book with Christian center values and funny dialog.  I think this book would be a great outline for a comic book series.  This book is a great start with tons of potential!  With the educational theme of finance underlining the story kids will get something out of it without being forced to read a boring educational book.
I would love to see the young author do a re-write of this book when he is 21 years old.  It would be a great experiment to see what would change about the book with older eyes.  :)
