Book Description
When you’re caught in traffic, you’ve got nowhere to go…Val Delton’s life is spiraling and there’s nothing she can do to stop it. Her dad lost his job, her mom works fourteen hour days to pay the bills and yet somehow there are high-end shopping bags and an iPod in her older sister’s room. Naturally, Val becomes suspicious but her sister’s lips are sealed. Then by accident, she uncovers a dark, dangerous secret hidden behind her sister’s bright smiles and cool indifference. Val has no idea how far and how deep the repercussions of her sister’s secret will reach but she’ll do whatever it takes to keep her family safe. Will she succeed before her sister’s secret destroys everyone she loves?
I asked the author to cast her book. Tell us who should play the major characters and of course tell us why. Here are her answers
Wow! If Traffic Jam was going to be made into a movie…that’s a tough one….
Okay, after much deliberation, here’s who I think should play the main characters from my book! Let me know your thoughts!
Ashley Richards as Val Delton
Ashley Richards is just quirky enough to play a girl like Val. I mean, Richards already plays an awkward high-schooler on MTV’s, “Awkward” so playing Val should be a piece of cake.
Elisha Cuthbert as Sam Delton
Elisha Cuthbert is not only beautiful but she’s very good at playing characters who are hiding something. I think she would be stellar as Sam.
Kivanc Tatlitug as John
Okay, yeah, he seems a bit on the older side than a high school kid but he’s got that smoldering thing going on that I think John pulls off in the book without even trying!
Tyler Hoechlin as Ed
The eyes have it! And that jaw! Mr. Hoechlin would be a dream at playing Ed. He’s got that danger vibe that literally oozes off of him!
Adam Lambert as Jude
Okay, I’m not even sure Adam Lambert can act but the look he’s sporting here makes him perfect for Jude!
