R.I.P. VIII: Wrap Up

Readers Imbibing Peril VIII

This was my first time participating in the R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril VIII Challenge and boy...whew... I have really outdone myself.  Originally, I was planning on just reading two books.  The first one was Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake (audiobook) as well as The Wolf Gift by Anne Rice.  I was really focused on getting a few books read for my Dusty Bookshelf Challenge and I didn't think I would be ale to read more than those two since they were 400+ pages each.  AGH!  By the way, I have a chunky book fear.

Dystopian Giveaway Hop 2013

Welcome to my first but not the first Dystopian Giveaway Hop! Thank you to host of this event My Shelf Confessions and I Am a Reader, Not a Writer for this great hop!
I just started reading Dystopian novels when I started blogging almost 2 years ago.  Honestly, I never really heard of the genre at all before that time.  Then a few book started popping up here and there.  Now I love them.  I haven't read that many but the ones I have read have been great.
For this giveaway I am going to make it easy.  Promise!

Halloween Pocketbooks

I love Halloween!  For basically two reasons, one the dress up and the candy!  That sounds like a perfectly good reason to celebrate to me!  Hehehehe!   This year I am having a hard time settling on a costume.  I think I might be a witch like I always do but completely go over board with it this year.  This is still a maybe.  *thinking*
Last year I posted a few post about purses and Halloween.  And this year I am going to do the same.  As I was jumping around the world wide web I ran across a few over the top and hot mess pocketbooks that would make great additions to your costumes.  Conversation pieces in a whole new light.  LOL!  Bags that NO ONE will have!  EVER!

First.... from last year

Commenting Confessions

This post is basically, more or less a rant confession about my commenting on your blog (and others)
First, let me say that I have a job.  A full time, one hour commute to work and one and half hour commute home, along with a work out schedule, a weekly dance class and a national book club to run and this blog.  I'm kinda busy!  And well...I don't comment...well...enough.  Heck, I rarely read other blogs on a regular bases.  I have my blog roll that I hit but the other day I noticed on another blog there were over 15 links to other blog post from the week.  When I click on the links there was a comment from them on each and every single one.  And I can't remember the blog at all right now.  ARGH!!
