How was your week everyone? Did you participate in Bout of Books or any kind of reading, blogging event?  There were a few things going on around the Blogosphere this month/week.  I am for one am looking forward to the end of the month for a few reasons.  BEA and getting to meet publishers and bloggers.  Taking some needed Vaca from work.  And having a few plane hours (from LA to NY) to sleep and read.  Yippie!

I ran across this blog post during April's National Poetry Month and thought this would be a fun and interesting challenge to join in. What is Spine Speak all about?  According to Kimberly's blog post you have to gather 5 or more books to make a poem.  The poem should be posted on the 3rd Thursday of the month and follow the given theme.  Link the poem post (with picture, book title and author) to her site and if you complete all the listed months you can win a $50.00 Amazon Gift Card.  Now, who does not like to win $$.  How cool is that?

I Love This: TopShop Satchel

There is something so formal business cute about the bag that I just love.  When I lived in Japan all the school children has navy blue school bags just like these.  I wanted one so bad but it would have been strange (I think) walking about with a kids school bag.  Like I stole it or something.
